علامہ اقبال اردو ادب کے وہ عظیم شاعر ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے کلام میں روحانیت، ایمان، اخلاق اور احساسِ انسانیت کو بڑے دلنشین انداز میں پیش کیا۔ ان کی نظمیں نہ صرف فکری و اخلاقی تربیت کا ذریعہ ہیں بلکہ بچوں کے دلوں میں ایمان، محبت اور کردار کی روشنی بھی جگاتی ہیں۔نظم ماں کا خواب میں اقبال نے ایک ماں کے خواب کے ذریعے اولاد کے لیے ماں کی بے پناہ محبت اور اس کے خلوص کو دکھایا ہے۔ یہ نظم بچوں کو ماں کی قربانی، دعا اور محبت کی قدر سکھاتی ہے۔
نظم ’دعا ‘میں اقبال نے مسلمان بچے کے دل کی آرزو بیان کی ہے ؛  ایک ایسی دعا جو روح کو گرماتی ہے، عمل کی تحریک دیتی ہے اور ایمان کو تازہ کرتی ہے۔ یہ نظم یقین، جوشِ عمل، صداقت اور بلند مقاصد کی دعا ہے۔یہ دونوں نظمیں اقبال کے تعلیمی اور اخلاقی پیغام کی روشن مثال ہیں، جو بچوں کے دل میں نیکی، دعا اور شکر گزاری کا جذبہ پیدا کرتی ہیں۔
