Hakim Ahmad Shuja (1893–1969)

Hakim Ahmad Shuja was a Pakistani Urdu and Persian poet, playwright, essayist, and screenwriter closely associated with Lahore’s literary culture. He wrote for stage, radio, and film and also served in the Punjab Assembly secretariat. His notable works include the play Baap ka Gunah, the memoir Khun Baha, and Lahore ka Chelsea.
